Locks a file with a password using AES-256 — the same encryption standard banks and governments use. The password never leaves this tab and is never stored, so only someone with the password can open the file. There's no recovery: if you forget the password, the contents are gone for good.

Encryption happens entirely on your device with the Web Crypto API; nothing is uploaded and no key is kept. The locked file (.pbx) can only be opened here (or by any tool that implements the same AES-256-GCM + PBKDF2 scheme) with the exact password. Choose a long, unique password and store it somewhere safe — it cannot be reset.
