Pitch
instrument & voice tuner
build v6.0
Pitch listens through your microphone and tells you which note you're playing and how sharp or flat you are — for tuning a guitar, violin, voice or any instrument. The needle sits in the middle when you're in tune. Audio is analysed live on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere.
Your browser will ask for microphone access

The note is found by detecting the pitch of the incoming sound (using autocorrelation) and comparing it to standard concert pitch, A = 440 Hz. Background noise or very quiet playing can make the reading jump; play one clear, sustained note for the steadiest result. Nothing is recorded — the sound is analysed and discarded frame by frame. Everything runs on your device.
